The card pays for itself the moment you arrive. If you purchase your card at the toll station in Bad Mitterndorf before heading up, your drive up the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road to our hotel is completely free of charge.
What can you explore with the card near our hotel?
- Tauplitzalm Panorama Train: Enjoy a relaxed ride to the most stunning viewpoints of our famous six mountain lakes.
- Tauplitz Chairlift: Perfect for trips down to the village and a comfortable ride back up to the plateau.
- Loser Mountain in Altaussee: Use your card for free access to the iconic Loser Panorama Road and the cable car.
- Relaxation & Culture: The card also includes entry to the Alpenbad thermal pools in Bad Mitterndorf, boat trips on Lake Altaussee, and tours of the fascinating Salt Worlds (Salzwelten).
Key Information:
- Validity: Available from May 23rd to September 26th, 2026.
- Family Bonus: Traveling with family? If at least one parent purchases a card, the third child (and any younger siblings) receives their card for free. Children born in 2021 or later always enjoy free entry.
- Please note: The card is valid for consecutive days, and each attraction can be visited once per day.

Where to Buy?
The easiest way is to buy it at the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road toll station (Mautstelle) in Bad Mitterndorf (Tel. +43 3623 2264) before you drive up to the hotel. It is also available at the cable car ticket offices.
